Talos Principle 2: A Lackluster Sequel

short-reviews Oct 3, 2026

Despite high expectations, Talos Principle 2 falls short of its predecessor's brilliance. The puzzles, while clever, often feel recycled and lack the innovation that made the first game a masterpiece. Graphics are visually appealing but do not significantly enhance the overall experience. The narrative attempts to be profound but ends up feeling convoluted and pretentious. - Characters are underdeveloped, leaving players uninvested in their journeys. - The pacing drags, making some sections feel tedious rather than thought-provoking. Multiplayer features are a welcome addition, yet they lack depth and engagement. Overall, Talos Principle 2 struggles to capture the magic of its predecessor.
