Sony finally acknowledges the minor, but annoying part of using a PS5 controller on PC with an update that will make my life easier
For a long time, I've been jealous of fellow gamers with multi-device controllers. My Xbox controller has served me well, but it's tethered to my PC only. The dream would be a controller that seamlessly switches between PC and PS5 without hassle. It's great news that Sony is addressing this issue with an upcoming update. The DualSense will soon pair with multiple devices and switch with a button press, eliminating the need to resync. The syncing process is simple: hold the PS Button and a face button to link devices. However, it’s about time Sony caught up with competitors like 8BitDo who have offered this for years. Microsoft's Xbox controller lacks this feature, which is perplexing. As fond as I am of my Xbox controller, this new functionality might just sway my preference towards the DualSense. Regular updates and improvements will be key to maintaining user satisfaction.
