My relationship with Mass Effect begins and ends with the first game, and I wasn't expecting much from Exodus. However, this title, crafted by some of the original team, pleasantly surprised me during my Gamescom appointment. The 45 minutes I spent with the game revealed a blend of familiar mechanics and new ideas that intrigued me. Exodus manages to capture the essence of its inspiration while forging its own identity. The narrative depth and character development seem promising, reminiscent of what made Mass Effect special. - The visuals are striking, and the world feels alive. - Combat mechanics offer a refreshing take without feeling derivative.
