Last Flag: A Struggling Multiplayer Shooter

short-reviews Apr 20, 2026

Last Flag, the debut title from a studio led by Imagine Dragons' frontman, attempts to carve its niche in the crowded multiplayer shooter genre. Despite its promising premise, the game suffers from a lack of distinct identity and engaging gameplay mechanics. - The graphics are visually appealing, but they do little to enhance the overall experience. - Matchmaking issues contribute to frustrating play sessions, often leading to long wait times. The sound design is memorable, yet it can't compensate for the uninspired maps and gameplay loops. While the potential exists, it feels like the game needs significant updates to attract and retain a player base. In a market teeming with competition, Last Flag may struggle to gain the audience it desperately needs.
