Helion
Helion-class Power Ship
“We carry the light that others burn.”
Want to craft your own starship like this? You can generate, sculpt, and export 3D models directly at studio.tripo3d.ai — the same AI studio used to create the Wardrome fleet.
Overview
The Helion-class Power Ship is the energy core of the Wardrome Technocracy Fleet — a moving star, a controlled sun, and the embodiment of pure industrial divinity.
It exists to generate, store, and distribute the unimaginable power that sustains fleets, colonies, and planetary outposts across the void.
Each Helion is a fusion megastructure, capable of producing more energy in an hour than a pre-Technocracy planet could in a century.
It does not simply provide power — it defines the frontier, marking every system that glows in its wake as part of the Technocracy’s domain.
Design & Structure
The Helion-class is built around a Core Containment Sphere, 900 meters wide, where a controlled micro-star burns behind layers of gravitic shielding and magnetic confinement.
The sphere’s radiant light never touches human eyes directly — only filtered through the Spectral Reactors that surround it, converting raw fusion into manageable plasma currents.
The outer hull is encased in heat-dissipating armor fins that unfold like wings, venting radiation and releasing bursts of aurora light visible across entire sectors.
Crew sections are minimal, isolated deep within the Thermal Umbra Zone, where temperatures drop below survivable limits without layered protection.
From a distance, a Helion looks alive — its hull pulsing with energy veins, like a living organism feeding the fleet.
Power & Systems
Each Helion houses multiple Helion-X Plasma Reactors, synchronized by the Solar Spine, a kilometer-long conduit that channels fusion energy to distribution modules.
These modules emit Wardrome Energy Lances, beams of pure plasma used to recharge other vessels, planetary stations, or even power entire megacities in orbit.
In emergencies, a Helion can overcharge its containment fields and fire a Helios Discharge — a directed solar flare capable of vaporizing enemy ships or clearing asteroid fields.
Such events are rare, but when they occur, entire constellations record the flash.
Operational Role
The Helion-class operates as both power plant and strategic energy distributor for the Fleet.
Its key duties include:
- Supplying plasma cores and energy streams to nearby ships and colonies.
- Maintaining planetary terraforming grids.
- Supporting FTL gate activations and wormhole stabilization.
- Acting as a mobile defense beacon through high-energy bursts.
A single Helion can sustain the entire Brobdingnagian and its escorts indefinitely — the Technocracy’s definition of “self-sufficient.”
History & Deployment
The prototype, WDS-61 “Radiant Forge,” was activated in Cycle 4499 at the Helion Research Foundry, after the first successful containment of an artificial stellar core.
Its creation marked the transition from dependence on planetary reactors to full stellar autonomy.
Modern Helions sometimes travel in Triad Formations, each maintaining synchronized plasma flow between them through the Wardrome Field Modulator, creating vast energy webs across systems.
Their captains are engineers of the highest order — often referred to as Sunwrights, guardians of artificial dawns.
Notable Technologies
| System | Description |
|---|---|
| Core Containment Sphere | Houses the ship’s artificial micro-star, stabilized by gravitic fields. |
| Solar Spine | Central conduit that channels fusion energy throughout the vessel. |
| Helion-X Plasma Reactors | Redundant power cores maintaining continuous energy flow. |
| Helios Discharge Array | Converts excess plasma into a directed energy burst. |
| Wardrome Field Modulator | Distributes power to nearby ships and stabilizes wormhole gates. |
Legacy
The Helion-class Power Ship is the living sun of the Fleet — the fire that fuels civilization, war, and progress.
To the Wardrome Technocracy, energy is not just a resource; it is a religion.
And every Helion is its temple.
“They burn for us, so that we may rise.”
