Fortnite is coming to Linux once Epic improves Easy Anti-Cheat
The announcement of Fortnite's potential arrival on Linux is exciting for the community, but it hinges on Epic's improvements to Easy Anti-Cheat. This move could revolutionize accessibility for Linux gamers, who have long been sidelined. However, the dependence on a single anti-cheat solution raises concerns about consistency and fairness. - Performance on Linux remains a question, as optimization varies widely across distributions. - The community’s support will be essential in testing and enhancing gameplay experience. Ultimately, the success of this initiative will depend on Epic's commitment to addressing these challenges. Until then, anticipation builds, but so do the questions surrounding its implementation. Regular updates from Epic will be crucial to keep players informed and engaged.
