Aniimo: Disappointing Gacha Experience
After several hours in the closed beta for Aniimo, I can't find much that stands out. The gameplay feels derivative, lacking innovation in a genre ripe for creativity. Many other creature collecting and gacha games are executing the concept far better. The graphics are uninspiring, with a style that fails to captivate. - Combat mechanics are clunky and unrefined, detracting from the overall experience. - The gacha system feels unbalanced, leading to frustration rather than excitement. While the potential is there, Aniimo ultimately falls short of expectations. Regular updates will be essential for improving its current state. For now, it feels like a missed opportunity in a popular genre.
